“Farewell to a Long-time Friend”

On December 31, 2005, Angel Ramos retired after completing 25 years of loyal service with Storm King Contracting, Inc. Starting with the grass roots beginning of Storm King, Angel grew with the company. He started as a laborer and in time completed the four year carpenter apprentice program, and retired as a journeyman carpenter and Foreman.

In recognition of this fine accomplishment, a company-wide retirement dinner was held, with his family and all employees being invited. Angel’s hard work and loyalty, as well as his work ethic and helpful personality were highlighted by several testimonials presented by long-time co-workers. After a fine meal, several commemorative gifts were presented to Angel, including a photograph signed by all present.

Angel concluded the evening with some nice heartfelt comments. He impressed upon all the value of hard work, to be appreciative of working for a good company, and expressed his thanks to the owner of the company, as well as to all that he worked with.

Angel will be missed by all, but we wish him well as he enjoys his retirement in his new home in Cummings, Georgia.
